India lost the opening Test match by 29 runs against Ben Stokes’ England. The batting line-up failed in the second innings against the spin bowling of Tom Hartley, Joe Root and Jack Leach and put themselves in a disadvantage.

Pathan however felt that India would make a comeback in the next match and said that the team would learn from its defeat in Hyderabad and hit back in the next game.

“We lost but that doesn’t mean our bowlers are not good. Our bowlers are proven, you can lose a match, and sometimes it is good to lose when you lose you get to learn a lot of things.
