India captain Rohit Sharma had a record-breaking day out against England in the fifth and final Test of their series at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala.
Rohit shattered several records en route to his 12th Test hundred. Rohit scored 103 runs off 162 balls, smashing 13 boundaries and three sixes against England in Dharamsala.

Rohit went level with the legendary Sunil Gavaskar to register the most hundreds by Indian openers against England in Tests. Rohit smashed his fourth Test hundred as an opener against England to go level with Gavaskar. Rohit is also one of only two Indian opening batters to have scored over 1000 runs against England in Tests.
