India are playing the first two Test matches at home against England without the services of senior India batter Virat Kohli. On the turning tracks of India, where Test matches have finished in two and a half days in the recent past, losing an asset like Virat Kohli is a scary proposition for the national team.
Kohli, as reported by the Board of Control for Cricket in India, has requested leave for personal reasons, and the board has requested both fans and media not pry over the matter and let the cricketer be.
