In the second session, the only set batter, Keegan Petersen who looked solid from the start tried to build up partnerships, but got no real support. He ultimately lost his patience and gave away his wicket, and their tail couldn’t really wag much as they were bowled out for 162. The Kiwi spin duo of Mitchell Santner and Rachin Ravindra shared the last five Proteas wickets. While batting, Tom Latham went back for another low score, and Devon Conway and Kane Williamson saw out till Tea. Dane Paterson was the lone wicket-taker for Proteas in that session while Tshepo Moreki bowled well but did not have anything to show for it.
