Sri Lanka opener Pathum Nissanka is set to miss the white-ball series against Zimbabwe after being diagnosed with dengue fever. Nissanka has been hospitalized after going down with dengue fever.
It’s anticipated that the talented young cricket sensation Shevon Daniel will replace Nissanka. The upcoming white-ball series against Zimbabwe is set to commence on January 06. The series will feature three ODIs on January 06, 08, and 11, followed by T20I matches on January 14, 16, and 18.
All the matches are slated to take place at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium (RPICS) in Colombo. The ODIs are scheduled as day-night fixtures, while the T20 games will be played at night.
