West Indies have left out Shimron Hetmyer and Alzarri Joseph for the last two T20Is against England.

Hetmyer has struggled across formats for the Caribbean team. After scoring only 44 runs in the ODI series at an average of 14.67, Hetmyer scored only three runs in the first two T20Is. Subsequently, he was replaced with Sherfane Rutherford in the third T20I of the series.

Top-order batter Johnson Charles, who last played a T20I against India back in August, has been picked.

Joseph, on the other hand, has been released, keeping in mind West Indies’ full-fledged tour of Australia which includes three ODIs, two Tests and three T20Is.

Joseph bowled well in the second T20I against England after he picked up three wickets of Will Jacks, Phil Salt and Sam Curran. On the back of his spell, West Indies won the match by 10 runs.

In his place, the home team has opted for Oshane Thomas, who has picked up 21 wickets from 20 T20Is since his debut in 2018.

The fourth and fifth T20I will take place on Tuesday, December 19 and Thursday, December 21 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba, Trinidad.

England won the third T20I by seven wickets to stay alive in the series after Phil Salt scored a hundred. Harry Brook also stayed unbeaten on 31 off seven balls.

Rovman Powell (capt), Shai Hope, Johnson Charles, Roston Chase, Matthew Forde, Jason Holder, Akeal Hosein, Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Gudakesh Motie, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd, Oshane Thomas
